In the summer of 1968, we set out to realize an extraordinary dream.  We opened our first watch and jewelry boutique, and it was in that first store that we established our mission to provide the highest levels of integrity, an uncompromising level of quality, and the finest value in town.  Today, nearly 40 years later, with the help of our extraordinary staff, we've grown into one of the Midwest's finest jewelry stores.

Our in-house jewelry design team recently won two
1st Place Jewelry Design Awards at the Midwest Jeweler Association's Design Competition.

We were also awarded by RJO, the Retail Jeweler Organization, with the distinction of being an
"Ultimate Jewelry Store".

You'll now find over 6000 fine diamonds, jewelry designs and swiss watches in a 5000 square foot showroom.  That's over 5 times the selection of most jewelry stores, and our newly expanded State-of-the-Art Design Studio will allow our Award Winning Designers to transform your dreams into reality.


COMPANY HISTORY

Founded in the late 60's by Lyle and Alice Husar, the original Husar's Tic Tok Shop was located in Pilgrim Square, Wisconsin's first enclosed shopping mall.  It was only 400 square feet, but adorned with hundreds of Switzerlands finest timepieces.  It was here, due to his German heritage and an apprenticeship with a Swiss-trained, Master Watchmaker, that Lyle chose his signature look, lederhosen.

Years later, after the lederhosen were retired, Lyle developed a passion for the art of jewelry making.  His desire to provide the best selection and finest quality, eventually lead him to the "Diamond Capital of the World" Antwerp, Belgium, where to this day he hand selects the finest diamonds for his customers.

The jewelry design business fluorished and before long, more space and a new name was neccessary.  Loyal customers followed to locations in Stonewood Village, the Wedding Centre and the current store on Brookfield's finest shopping district, Bluemound Road.


THE NEXT GENERATION                           

Company President, Craig Husar, is a Graduate Gemologist (G.G.), an Accredited Senior Gemologist (AGA), a Member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA) and a former Gemology Instructor at the prestigious Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California.

Craig also spent many years as Exhibition Director/Diver with famed Treasure Hunter Mel Fisher, recovering $500 million in gold & silver artifacts from the Spanish Galleon, Nuestra Senora de Atocha, near Key West, Florida.

Lyle & Alice's daughter, Christine Husar-Anderson, manages the Custom Design Department.  Christine recently earned 1st Place in the Wisconsin Jewelers Association's Design Competition for a custom gold,
druzy, pearl and fancy colored diamond pendant.

Her talent as a Jewelry Designer, Goldsmith and Wax Model Maker, allow Lyle Husar Designs to offer one-of-a-kind creations not found anywhere else in the world.  Working in platinum or gold, she will hand craft your dreams into reality.
